Friday, March 16

Drunken driving

Arlene Corral, 25, of the 1900 block of Waverly Way in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 after a traffic stop at 1:06 p.m. on Route 30 at Route 31, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Corral was also charged with speeding and improper lane usage, and driving without proper insurance, police said.

Hit and run

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 8:30 a.m. on Route 31 at Caterpillar Drive. Someone smashed into a traffic signal in the southwest corner of the intersection, police said, causing between $3,000 and $5,000 in damage.

Warrants lead to multiple charges

Daniel Van Jackson, 18, of the 0-99 block of Saugatuck Road in Montgomery, was charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer at 1:39 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Harbor Drive in Oswego, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Deputies arrived at the house to arrest one of its occupants, Tonario Kimmons, 22, on two outstanding warrants, police said, and obtained a warrant to search the house due to the strong odor of marijuana. Kimmons was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a peace officer, and an unnamed juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and unauthorized use of a weapon, police said.

Wednesday, March 14

Unlawful interference

Jovan Lee, 19, of the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill, was charged with unlawful interference with reporting of a domestic violence incident at 5:15 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Lee is accused of unplugging the home phone while the reporting of a domestic violence incident was in progress, police said.

Tuesday, March 13

Possession

Sean Jump, 20, of the 0-99 block of Spring Garden in Montgomery, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after three glass pipes were found in his vehicle after a traffic stop at 2:24 a.m. on Spring Garden at Marnel Road, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

School’s out

Two juvenile boys were charged with criminal damage to property for allegedly breaking a window at Boulder Hill Elementary School at 163 Boulder Hill Pass sometime before 5:10 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Deputies found a black BB gun on one of the boys, and charged him with unlawful use of a weapon, police said.
