Sheriff's Blotter: Drunken Driving, Broken Windows and Yelling at Kids

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of identity theft filed at 3:10 p.m. by a Boulder Hill resident. Police said the man reported his debit card had been lost or stolen, and several unauthorized charges made using that card.

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an incident that occurred at Boulder Hill Elementary School, 163 Boulder Hill Pass, at 6:05 p.m. Police said they responded to reports of young men drinking and yelling at students, and located those juveniles in the area of the school for questioning.

Drunken driving on Super Bowl Sunday

Shaun Pundsack, 35, of the 0-99 block of Pueblo Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. on Hampton Road at Saugatack Road in Oswego Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Pundsack was initially stopped  for disobeying two stop signs, police said, and was also charged with driving on a license that had been suspended for drunken driving. She was also charged with disobeying stop signs and driving without insurance, police said.

Off-roading on the road

A male juvenile from Montgomery was charged with driving without a license after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies stopped his off-highway vehicle at 6:02 p.m. on Boulder Hill Pass at Circle Drive West, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. He was also cited for speeding, driving without insurance, and unlawful operation of an off-highway vehicle, police said.

Broken window pain

Someone smashed out a window on a car parked in the 0-99 block of Sierra Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 6:20 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Police said that a light-colored SUV was seen leaving the scene shortly after the damage was discovered, and the incident remains under investigation.
