Monday, Jan. 16

Out past curfew

Two teenage boys, a 15-year-old from Oswego and a 16-year-old from Aurora, were charged with curfew violation after a Kendall County Sheriff’s deputy saw them walking at 1:03 a.m. on Boulder Hill Pass near Aldon Road in Boulder Hill, police said.

Underage drinking

William Bobik, 20, of the 0-99 block of Surrey Road in Montgomery, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at 2:39 a.m. at Orchard Road and Lewis Street in Bristol Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Bobik was the passenger in the car, and police initially stopped the vehicle for following too closely, deputies said.

Seat belt ticket leads to drug charges

Tonario Kimmons, 22, of the 700 block of Kelley Drive in North Aurora, and Zacheriah Foster, 22, of the 200 block of Plum Street in Aurora, were both charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 8:20 p.m. at Route 30 and Briarcliff Road in Montgomery, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Police initially pulled over the car because the passenger, Foster, was not wearing a seatbelt. Kimmons was also charged with driving on a suspended license, police said.

Tuesday, Jan. 10

Illegal dumping

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of someone illegally dumping trash into dumpsters belonging to a business in the 0-99 block of Hillstone Road in Boulder Hill, police said. The most recent incident occurred sometime before 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 10, police said.
