Sunday, Feb. 26

Two charged with pot possession

Silvestre Luna, 18, of the 1300 block of Autumn Lane in Aurora, and Pedro Carrera-Arzola, 18, of the 800 block of Fulton Street in Aurora, were charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 12:11 a.m. on Circle Court at Circle Drive West in Boulder Hill, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Police initially investigated a “suspicious vehicle” while responding to a loud party in the area, deputies said.

Damage to property

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a criminal damage to property incident that occurred sometime before 9:30 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Chatham Place in Montgomery, police said.

Drunken driving, fifth arrest

Nickolas Stanley, 25, of the 0-99 block of Monroe Street in North Aurora, was charged with aggravated drunken driving after a traffic stop at 11:06 p.m. on Boulder Hill Pass at Briarcliff Road in Boulder Hill, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Police initially pulled Stanley over for broken taillights, but determined that he was under the influence, deputies said. Due to his four prior drunken driving arrests, police were able to obtain a search warrant to get blood and urine samples from Stanley, and charged him with aggravated drunken driving, driving on a revoked license, driving without taillights, and driving without insurance, police said.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

Bringing pot to the cop shop

Alexis Pearson, 20, of the 200 block of Suzy Street in Plano, was charged with driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:11 a.m. on Boulder Hill Pass at Briarcliff Road in Boulder Hill, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Pearson was brought to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, police said, where deputies found marijuana on her person. She was charged with possession of marijuana, and bringing contraband into a penal institution, along with citations for driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration, police said.

The kids are not all right

A 16-year-old Oswego girl was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a car she was a passenger in at 4:51 p.m. on Bereman Road at Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill, police said. Deputies initially stopped the car because the driver was not wearing a seat belt, deputies said.
