Sheriff's Blotter: Teens Net Alcohol Charges

Domestic battery

A 17-year-old girl was arrested at 6:50 a.m. at her house in the first block of Clay Court, Montgomery, and charged with domestic battery, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Reports state the teen allegedly struck someone with a cell phone multiple times and also struck with her fists.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Two female juveniles, 17, were arrested at 2 a.m. at Routes 30 and 34 and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle had originally been stopped for a passenger not wearing a seatbelt. Both juveniles were passengers in the vehicle.

Possession of marijuana

Fabian Slyvestor Cruz, 26, of the 100 block of Braeburn Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. outside his house and charged with the possession of marijuana of more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Reports state Cruz was stopped when he failed to signal.

Theft

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported theft that occurred in the first block of Hampton, Montgomery, at an unknown time on Aug. 25. Reports state three wheel center caps, valued at $150, had been removed from the victim’s car parked on the street in front of the residence. The case is under investigation.
