Monday, Jan. 9 

Not so sweet

Someone poured sugar into the gas tank of a car parked in the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Boulder Hill sometime before 12:08 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.

Sunday, Jan. 8

No license, part one

An unidentified Aurora 17-year-old was charged with driving without a license and sporting a broken taillight at 1:06 a.m. at Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive in Oswego Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. His two passengers, 15 and 17, also from Aurora, were charged with curfew violations, police said.

Francisco Hernandez, 24, of the 300 block of South River Street in Montgomery, was charged with driving on a revoked license, illegal transportation of alcohol and not having a proper license plate light after a traffic stop at 8:16 p.m. at Route 31 and Light Road in Oswego, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Friday, Jan. 6

Three-car crash

Ryan Coleman, 33, of Joliet, was injured in a three-car crash at 7:11 a.m. at Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive in Oswego Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Coleman was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora with minor injuries, police said. 

Lock your doors

Someone stole a Kenwood radio/compact disc player and a pair of sunglasses from an unlocked car parked in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 10:50 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.
