Someone stole more than $500 in clothing, electronics and money from a home in the 0-99 block of Chatham Place in Montgomery sometime before 5:27 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff's deputies said. The case remains under investigation, police said.

Boy on bike hits car

A nine-year-old boy on a bicycle collided with the side of a moving car at 6:09 p.m. on Heathgate Road at Springdale Road in Montgomery, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The boy was treated for minor injuries and released, police said.

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a 17-year-old boy’s claim that a man with a weapon in his hand yelled at him around 8:30 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Old Post Road in Boulder Hill, police said.
