Police Impersonator Rape Did Not Happen: Sheriff

Kendall County Sheriff's police said Thursday that no sexual assault nor police imposter were involved.

A 33-year-old Sandwich woman was not raped at gunpoint by a police imposter, Kendall County Sheriff's Police announced on their Facebook page.

"The is cancelling the community alert concerning the reported police impersonator that allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on Griswold Springs Road in unincorporated Plano," the post stated. "The crime did not occur. The investigation into the incident will continue."

The sheriff's office posted the information about 6:45 p.m. Thursday, about two days after the woman claimed she was pulled over on Griswold Springs Road about 0.25 miles west of Little Rock Road outside Plano.

The is reviewing the case, according to a news release. Sheriff's police said they determined there was no assault or police impersonator involved, the news release states.

The woman had told police a uniformed man driving a blue car with flashing red and blue lights pulled her over, threatened her with a gun and forced her into a cornfield, where he beat and raped her.

I assume it was obvious that she had been beat up by someone or by herself, otherwise they would not have taken her to the hospital. The test for rape couid go either way if it was forced or not. I maintain that a threat could still be out there. I agree that you should drive to a lighted and busy area before stopping. Officers will just have to get over it.

Remember years ago there was a woman who said she was raped, turned out she had consensual sex with the guy and then regretted it so much so she carved up her own stomach with glass to make it look better for the story. The guy was convicted and did time and was released when she recanted and said it was all BS. Then they made the talk show circuit. Maybe this gal is related?

Its not that were picking fights its a place where we come together and get different views on it. Its called freedom of speech. Not to start a fight. Its just intaresting to see what other people have to say and we all have that right.
