Police: Boulder Hill Man Faces Charges After Heroin Overdose

22-year-old Brian Castle was found partially responsive by Kendall County deputies last year, and admitted to overdosing on heroin, police said. Now he faces possession charges.

A 22-year-old Boulder Hill man faces charges after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies say they found him overdosing on heroin.

Brian Castle, of the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, earlier this month after deputies found him partially responsive in his home on Oct. 15, police said.

According to Deputy Craig French, police found drug paraphernalia near Castle when they arrived at his home. Castle later admitted to overdosing, police said, and the paraphernalia tested positive for heroin. A warrant was issued for Castle’s arrest on Jan. 5, and he turned himself in on Friday, deputies said.
