Identity theft

Someone used the credit card number of a Montgomery woman to make $240 worth in charges through an out-of-country website, Kendall County Sheriff's deputies said. The incident remains under investigation.

Dominic Lewis, 28, of the 1000 block of Harmony Drive in Montgomery, was charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 1900 block of Douglas Road saw him conceal $20 in merchandise and leave the store without paying around 6:15 p.m., said.

Friday, April 6

Unlawful consumption

Brian Clemente, 18, of the 400 block of Smith Street in Aurora, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and unlawful transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop at 12:20 a.m. on Douglas and Montgomery roads, Montgomery police said. Clemente was initially stopped for disobeying a traffic control device, police said.

Drunken driving

Vincent Paschali, 23, of the 1200 block of Galena Boulevard in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1:05 a.m. on Route 30 at Briarcliff Road in Boulder Hill, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Paschali was initially stopped for driving with one headlight, police said.

Accident in Little Rock Township

Suzanne Rutherford, 49, of the 100 block of Tealwood Road in Montgomery, was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 9:31 a.m. on Eldemain Road south of Galena Road in Little Rock Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Rutherford was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, and was then flown to Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, where she remains in stable condition.

Wednesday, April 4

Stealer’s wheels

A 14-year-old Montgomery boy was charged with theft after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies found him in possession of a stolen bicycle in the 1100 block of Light Road at 4:30 p.m., police said. Two bicycles were reported stolen from the 2800 block of Light Road earlier that day, police said.

Give the music back

Someone stole an iPod from a home in the 0-99 block of Aldon Court in Boulder Hill sometime before 7:45 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
