Monday, March 7
40 miles per hour over
Armando Gallardo Jr., 20, of the 0-99 block of Fernwood Road in Montgomery, was charged with driving 40 miles per hour over the posted speed limit after a traffic stop at 7:42 p.m. at Route 30 and Briarcliff Road in Oswego Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Drunken driving, pt. 1
Michael Huerta, 35, of Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1 p.m. at Douglas Road and Sherman Avenue, Montgomery police said. He was also cited for not wearing a seat belt, and having a blood alcohol content over .08, police said.

Wrong plates leads to felony
Alejandro Chavez, 27, of Chicago, was charged with felony driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop at 4:15 p.m., Montgomery police said. Officers noticed that the plates on the vehicle Chavez was driving were registered to a different car, police said. Chavez was also cited for improper use of registration and driving without insurance, police said.
Drunken driving, pt. 2
Kevin Whitehead, 46, of Oswego, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of Douglas Road, Montgomery police said.
