Retail theft
Matthew Dale, 20, of the 300 block of Badger Court, Oswego, was arrested for retail theft after store employees observed him conceal $80 in video games and leave the store without paying at 4:25 p.m. in the 1900 Block of South Douglas Road, police said.
Residential burglary

Someone stole a flat screen television at 7:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Fifth Street, police said. Reports state the burglar entered through an unlocked window.
Illegal transportation of alcohol

Jorge Contreras, 30, of the 300 block of Kendall Street, Aurora, was issued a citation for illegal transportation of alcohol after police located an open bottle of an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle at 12:40 a.m. at Douglas Road and Monitor. Reports state Contreras was also arrested on a DuPage County Sheriff’s Department no valid driver’s license warrant after police stopped the vehicle he was in for parking in a fire lane.
Saturday, June 2
Retail theft
Gerardo Anaya, 18, of the 900 block of Lebanon Street, Aurora, was arrested for retail theft after store employees observed Anaya conceal $30 in merchandise and leave the store without paying at 10:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road.
Friday, June 1
Car wash vandalized
Three machines to dispense products were damaged and the coins inside stolen from a self serve car wash at 7:40 a.m. in the 600 block of Montgomery Road, police said.
