Thursday, Aug. 9

Retail theft

Jill Molnar, 50, of the first block of Hickory Avenue, Yorkville, was arrested for retail theft after store officials saw her hide items and leave the store without paying at 3:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road, police said.

Friday, Aug. 10

Burglary

Several computer-related items were stolen from a construction trailer at 7:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Dickson, police said. Reports state the items stolen valued $2,100.

Theft

A gas-powered remote control car was stolen from outside of a home at 5:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Stirling Court, police said.

Two net retail theft charges

Cornelio Anaya, 20, of the 2300 block of Prescott Drive, Montgomery, and Marissa Aguilar, 18, of the 800 block of South Fourth Street, Aurora, were arrested for retail theft after employees saw them conceal items and leave without paying at 10:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of Orchard Road, police said.

Sunday, Aug. 12

Home tagged with graffiti

Someone spray-painted the side of a house at 7 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Douglas Road, police said.

Resisting a peace officer

Jonathan Garcia, 20, of the 400 block of Grand Place, Aurora, was arrested for resisting a peace officer after he tried to run away from officers and struggled to avoid being arrested at 9:15 p.m. at River and Taylor streets, police said.

Monday, Aug. 13

DUI

Sylvia Martinez, 47, of the 2000 Fox Pointe Drive, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped her vehicle for not having headlights on at 2 a.m. at Montgomery and Douglas roads, police said.
