A look at recent police reports from Montgomery and Boulder Hill.

Monday, Oct. 17

Drunken driving, part one

Anjelica Matczuk, 25, of the 900 block of Fawn Ridge Court in Yorkville, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1 a.m. at Montgomery Road and Broadway, Montgomery police said. Matczuk was initially stopped for improper lane usage, police said.

Expired plates, illegal pipes

Jacob Fessler, 23, of the 2800 block of Rebecca Court in Montgomery, was charged with possession of marijuana and  drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 12:40 a.m. at Rebecca Court and Rebecca Circle, Montgomery police said. Fessler was initially stopped for expired license plates, police said, and he was also charged with driving on a suspended license and failing to wear a seatbelt.

Someone stole a GPS unit from an unlocked silver Honda Fit parked in a driveway in the 2700 block of Savoy Lane sometime before 8:30 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Theft, part one

Charrise Thompson, 38, of the 200 block of LaSalle Street in Aurora, was charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road saw her conceal merchandise and leave without paying around 9 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Drunken driving, part two

Sergio Rodriguez, 27, of the 1100 block of Fifth Street in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 11:30 p.m. at Routes 30 and 31, Montgomery police said. Rodriguez was initially stopped for improper lane usage, police said.

Friday, Oct. 14

Theft, part two

Adrianna Guzman, 21, of the 1100 block of Indian Avenue in Aurora, and Cristina Cadena, 21, of the 400 block of Wood Street in Aurora, were charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road saw them leaving without paying for merchandise around 12:25 a.m, Montgomery police said.

Possible drug overdose

An unidentified 22-year-old man, of the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies found him unresponsive at home around 12:52 a.m., police said. He was breathing when deputies arrived, having been called for a possible drug overdose, police said. A syringe was found at the scene, according to police. No further information was available.

Theft, part three

Kevin Kirksey, 29, of the 400 block of Claim Street in Aurora, was charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 200 block of Montgomery Road saw him leaving the store without paying for merchandise around 4:20 p.m., Montgomery police said.

And theft, part four

Eboni McGee, 18, of the 800 block of Birchwood Road in Aurora, was charged with retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor after employees of a store in the 2000 block of Orchard Road saw her concealing merchandise – including a bottle of an alcoholic beverage – and leave without paying, Montgomery police said.

Drunken driving, part three

Jose Torres-Mandrigal, 36, of the 1100 block of Lebanon Street in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 11:25 p.m. at Douglas Road and Melrose Street, Montgomery police said. Torres-Mandrigal was initially stopped for squealing his tires, police said, and was also charged with driving without insurance, disobeying a stop sign, and obstructing a peace officer.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Stolen Grand Prix

A maroon 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from a driveway in the 0-99 block of Fernwood Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 10:39 a.m., police said.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

Defacement

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating vulgar words written on the side of the Neighborhood Church of the Brethren, at 155 Boulder Hill Pass. The graffiti was written sometime before 6:06 p.m., police said.

Monday, Oct. 10

Great bag of fire

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible arson that occurred at 11:41 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill. Police said a fire that damaged the siding of a garage began when a bag of lawn refuse caught fire “by an unknown means.” The total damage was estimated at $1,000, police said.
