Drunken driving, part one

Maria Del Rosario Hernandez, 29, of the 2000 block of Kevin Drive in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 12:20 a.m. at Montgomery Road and Crown Drive, Montgomery police said. Hernandez was initially stopped for speeding, police said.

Someone stole a compound bow and several arrows from an unlocked Dodge Calibre sometime before 9 p.m. in the 3200 block of Julie Lane, Montgomery police said.

Drunken driving, part two, with a deadly weapon

Rudy Ferrer, 27, of the 400 block of Parker Avenue in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after his car struck a light pole at 6:50 p.m. at Goodwin and Reading drives, Montgomery police said. Police also found a firearm inside the car, and charged him with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon with ammo accessible, and aggravated drunken driving, police said.

Leticia Jiminez, 40, of the 700 block of Oakton Road in Montgomery, was charged with retail theft after officials at a store in the 2000 block of Orchard Road, where Jiminez worked, saw her under-charging people for merchandise on several occasions, Montgomery police said.
