Police Blotter: Drunken Driving, Stolen Trailer and Bike Rage

Breaking and taking
Someone smashed out a window on a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Saugatuck Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 10:30 a.m. and stole several items, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The total loss was calculated at $680, police said.

Underage drinking, damage
Nicholas Stadler, 20, of the 0-99 block of Chatham Place in Boulder Hill, was charged with underage drinking and criminal damage to property after breaking a side mirror on a vehicle and other items at his home sometime before 2:20 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Drunken driving, part one
Nathan Tews, 28, of the 1600 block of Marikay Avenue in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 12:10 a.m. on Route 25 and Sherman Avenue, Montgomery police said. Tews was pulled over for making an improper turn, and for only having one taillight.
Bike rage
David Meadows, 18, of the 1300 block of South Broadway in Montgomery, was charged with criminal damage to property at 8:15 p.m. at his home, when he allegedly struck a bicycle with a baseball bat, damaging the front rim and tire, Montgomery police said. Meadows was allegedly angry at the bicycle’s owner, according to police.
Medical condition causes accident
Melissa Pajot, 33, of the 1200 block of Coventry Court in Aurora, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora after an unknown medical condition caused her to drive off the road at 2:55 a.m. at Douglas Road and Route 30, Montgomery police said. She was cited for driving without a valid license and insurance, police said.
Friday, May 27Drunken driving, part two
Yvette Gutierrez, 33, of the 2400 block of Mayfield Drive in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving after hitting a parked car on the side of Mayfield at 4 a.m., Montgomery police said. Gutierrez was cited for failing to reduce speed, driving without insurance, and having a blood alcohol content above the legal limit of .08.
Dude, where’s my trailer?
A black load trailer was stolen from a business in the 1800 block of Albright Road in Montgomery sometime before 3:25 p.m., Montgomery police said.
Thursday, May 26Broken (into) home
Several items were taken from a home in the 0-99 block of Fieldcrest Drive in Boulder Hill sometime before 3:55 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The incident is still under investigation, police said.
