Sunday, Sept. 25

Drunken driving, part one

Jaeson Scroggins, 32, of the 0-99 block of Cayman Drive in Boulder Hill, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 2:55 a.m. on Lincoln Avenue and Henry Court, Montgomery police said.

Rodolfo Oliva-Vasquez, 33, of the 900 block of Indian Trail in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Douglas Road, Montgomery police said. Oliva-Vasquez was initially stopped for squealing his tires, and was also charged with driving without insurance, police said.

Glass pipe found

Thelma Jeffries, 50, of the 1100 block of Lenhertz Circle in Aurora, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a glass pipe in her car after a traffic stop at 4 p.m. at Greenfield Avenue and Schuring Road, Montgomery Police said.

Possession, part one

Samuel Jonathan Reed, 18, of the 2000 block of Kensington Place in Aurora, and James Edward Guyton, 18, of the 200 block of Pineridge Lane in Montgomery, were charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at 8:40 p.m. at Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Guyton was also charged with possession of marijuana, and Reed was cited for disobeying a stop sign and driving without insurance, police said.

Friday, Sept. 23

Possession, part two

Jermaine Jones, 34, of the 600 block of Ascot Lane in Streamwood, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at 12 a.m. at Route 25 and Marsch Street, Montgomery police said. Jones’ vehicle was initially pulled over for suspicious behavior, police said.

Thursday, Sept. 22

Obstructing a peace officer

Melody Lynn Stuebinger, 41, of the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at her home to investigate a domestic dispute at 5:31 p.m., police said.

Fighting with cops

Candace Ann Walczak, 45, of the 0-99 block of Hampton Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer after engaging in a fight with a Kendall County Sheriff’s deputy at 7:51 p.m. at her home, police said. Deputies were on scene to investigate a burning complaint, police said.

Monday, Sept. 19

Trying to make a rocket bike?

Someone stole a neon green BMX Dyno boys bicycle and a propane tank from an unlocked shed in the 0-99 block of Eastfield Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 9:48 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The total value of the loss is estimated at $349, police said.
