Broken window pain

Someone broke a garage window in the 0-99 block of Surrey Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 2:30 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The window was valued at $50, police said.

Aggravated assault in Oswego

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies charged an unnamed 17-year-old Montgomery juvenile with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, interfering with a police report, resisting arrest and possession of drug equipment after an incident at 2:39 p.m. in the 0-99 block of South Bereman Road in Oswego, police said.

Someone struck a Pontiac Grand Am parked in front of a home in the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 3 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The damage is estimated at $1,000, police said.

Didn’t have a dollar?

Someone stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise from a Dollar General store in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill sometime before 3:04 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

The Bicycle Thief

Someone stole a Dyno BMX bicycle from the front of an apartment complex in the 800 block of Victoria Drive in Montgomery sometime before 3:10 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Saturday, July 16

Tag, you’re a criminal

Someone sprayed graffiti on the Route 30 bridge near the 700 block of South River Street in Montgomery sometime before 4:45 a.m., Montgomery police said. The graffiti will be removed by the Public Works Department, police said.

Hit and run, tree edition

Someone drove a car into a small tree in the 1300 block of Hickory Ridge in Montgomery sometime before 6:25 a.m., causing it to break, Montgomery police said. The driver then left the scene, police said.

Friday, July 15

Drunken driving, part the first

Rigoberto Medina, 25, of the 300 block of Marion Avenue in Aurora, was arrested for drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. at Montgomery Road and Raymond Drive in Montgomery, police said. He was also charged with driving on a revoked license and not having proper insurance.

Arrest was warranted

Derek Baldwin, 24, of the 600 block of Chestnut Drive in Oswego, was arrested on a Kendall County Sheriff’s Department warrant after a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Avalon Street in Montgomery at 6:45 p.m., Montgomery police said. Baldwin was wanted for possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Juvenile burglary

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies charged an unnamed male juvenile with burglary and criminal damage to property at 7:02 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Marnel Road in Boulder Hill, police said. No further information was provided.

Breaking and entering

Someone stole items valued at $1,300 from a house in the 200 block of Railroad Street in Montgomery sometime before July 16, Montgomery police said.

Wednesday, July 13

Kids and alcohol, not mixing

Charles Massie, 19, of the 0-99 block of Briarcliff Road in Montgomery, was charged with illegal possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor after police found him and two friends in a parking lot in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill at 1:22 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. His friends, Jacob Neumann, 19, of Batavia and Daniel Earwood, 19, of Plano, received the same charges, police said.

Drunken driving, part the second

Aaron Peck, 23, of the 300 block of Lancaster Street in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after Montgomery police saw him drive around a lowered railroad gate at 12:50 a.m. on Webster Street, police said. Peck was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding and driving without insurance, police said.
