Monday, Sept. 5

Stealing away

Alva Olvera, 32, of the 1800 block of Simpson Court in Montgomery, was charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road allegedly saw her conceal $63 of merchandise and attempt to leave around 7:30 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Drunken driving, part one

Bobby Tennision, 36, of the 2200 block of Gallant Fox Circle in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 12:50 a.m. at Gordon Road and Route 30, Montgomery police said. Tennision was initially pulled over for failing to stop at a traffic light, police said.

Juan Andrade, 28, of the 1600 block of Dearborn Avenue in Aurora, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 2:10 a.m. at Douglas Road and Barbara Lane, Montgomery police said. Andrade was also wanted on a Kendall County warrant for violation of a court order, police said. He was initially pulled over for improper lane use, police said.

Drunken driving, part three

Colleen Greenbusch, 34, of the 100 block of East Dearborn Street in Plano, was charged with drunken driving after police stopped her for speeding at 8:02 p.m. at Jericho and Barnes roads, Montgomery police said.

Saturday, Sept. 3

Remember to lock your doors

Someone stole several items from an unlocked 2011 Toyota Camry parked in a driveway in the 1300 block of Raymond Drive sometime before midnight, Montgomery police said.

Info sought in hit and run

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for information on a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 12:34 a.m. at Fox Road and Fox River Drive in Fox Township. A red pickup truck struck another vehicle, injuring two people inside, and then left the scene, police said. A piece of plastic from the truck was found at the scene, according to police. Both injured people were taken to a local hospital, police said, and no further information was available on their conditions. Anyone with information is asked to call Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers to Crime Stoppers remain anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Kids and alcohol don’t mix

Michael Suidak, 18, of McHenry, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after police stopped him for speeding at 2:50 a.m. at Hill Avenue and Goodwin Drive, Montgomery police said. Suidak was also charged with illegal transportation of alcohol.

Once again, lock your doors

Someone stole several items from an unlocked 2003 Honda Civic parked in the street in the 1000 block of Sard Avenue sometime before 7 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Friday, Sept. 2

Contact with street gang

William Pryor, 21, of the 1700 block of Deer Run Drive in Montgomery, was charged with unlawful contact with street gang members, a Class A misdemeanor, after a vehicle he was in was stopped at 7:50 p.m. at Route 31 and Albright Road, Montgomery police said. The car was initially stopped for failing to use a turn signal, police said.
