Police Blotter: Drugs, Drug Paraphernlia, and Two Unsolved Hit-and-Runs

Police reports from the past few days in Montgomery and Boulder Hill.

Friday, Feb. 11

Drug paraphernalia found

Bradley Thomas Friel, 23, of the 0-99 block of Ashlawn Avenue in Boulder Hill, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at his home at 6:40 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff's deputies said. Deputies responded to the home for a domestic disturbance, according to the police report.

Hit-and-run number one

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a hit-and-run with no injuries that occurred between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Fernwood Road in Boulder Hill, deputies said.

Stolen tools

Someone stole a number of tools from a storage unit in the 0-99 block of Rocky Way in Boulder Hill between Wednesday and Friday, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. The tools are valued at a total of $3,000, deputies said.

Thursday, Feb. 10

Possession of marijuana

Torrien Jamari Minor, 23, of the 0-99 block of Knollwood Drive in Boulder Hill, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 9:55 p.m. at Knollwood Drive and Briarcliff Drive in Boulder Hill, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Minor was pulled over for a broken taillight, and was cited for that as well as operating an uninsured vehicle, sheriff’s deputies said. 

Wednesday, Feb. 9

Hit-and-run number two

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are still investigating a hit-and-run that occurred at 4:25 p.m. at Circle Drive East and Marnel Road in Boulder Hill. Police said a car failed to stop at the intersection of Circle Drive and Long Beach Road and struck another car on Circle Drive East.
