Police Blotter: Drugs, Battery and Violating a Bail Bond

Obstructed plate, drug paraphernalia

Demetrian Moore, 23, of the 100 block of Victory Court in Aurora, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 12:45 a.m. at South Broadway and Mill Street, said. Moore was initially stopped for an obscured license plate, police said, and also charged with driving on a suspended license.

Violation of order of protection

Kasia Passley, 18, of the 1100 block of Kenmore Avenue in Aurora, was charged with violating an order of protection by entering and remaining at a protected address in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill around 8:30 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Violation of bail bond

Albert Hoffman Jr., 42, of the 0-99 block of Circle Court in Boulder Hill, was charged with violating his bail bond by returning to his home around 5:39 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Hoffman was told not to return to his residence as a term of his bond, police said. See below incident under Saturday, Jan. 21 for details.

Rhyming and stealing

Manuel Perez, 26, of the 900 block of Superior Street in Aurora, was charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 1900 block of Douglas Road saw him conceal merchandise and leave the store around 6:45 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Battery, Pot Charge

Albert Hoffman Jr., 42, of the 0-99 block of Circle Court in Boulder Hill, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies came to his house at 7:49 p.m. to arrest him on domestic battery charges, police said.
