Domestic battery

Eugene Preuser, 36, of the 800 block of Victoria Drive, Montgomery, was arrested for domestic battery at 12:45 a.m. after he allegedly struck a family member, causing minor scratches and lacerations, police said.

Generator stolen

A cargo trailer that was parked in a industrial area was broken into and a generator, valued at $1,500, was stolen at 7:50 a.m. from a business 2200 block of Cornell, police said.

Warrant arrest

Laticia Jimenez, 40, of the 700 block of Oakton Road, Montgomery, was arrested on a Kendall County Sheriff’s Department retail theft warrant at 6:15 p.m. after she turned herself in at the Montgomery Police Department.

Thursday, June 7

Used batteries stolen

Someone cut the lock from a secured storage area and stole $180 in used batteries at 7 a.m. from a retail business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road, police said.

Tuesday, June 5

Yards vandalized

Someone entered the backyards of four houses and damaged garden hoses and a trampoline with unknown sharp items sometime overnight in the 3000 block of Patterson, police said.
