Thursday, Aug. 30

Attempted burglary

A door to a vehicle service business in the 2100 block of Orchard Road was damaged by an unknown suspect in an attempt to gain entry at 7:15 p.m., police said. Reports state no entry was made.

Endangering the life of a child

Julie A. Kinsey, 35, of the 4000 block of Klatt Street, Plano, was arrested for endangering the health and life of a child after police were dispatched to a vehicle with a 3-year-old child left unattended at noon in the 1800 block of South Douglas Road. Reports state the child was transported to Rush Copley where she was treated for non life-threatening treatment due to the extreme heat.

Disorderly conduct

Charles Logue, 47, of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he appeared in a public place while under the influence of alcohol at 8:40 a.m. in the 200 block of Montgomery Road, police said.

Monday, Sept. 3

DUI

Anthony Fiello, 55, of the 200 block of Gregory Street, Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:10 a.m. after police stopped his vehicle for improper lane usage at Route 30 and Baseline Road, police said.

Criminal trespass to property

Peter Dalgaard, 56, of the 600 block of South River Street, Aurora, was arrested for criminal trespass to property at 10 a.m. after he entered a business after receiving prior notice that such entry was prohibited in the 1300 block of South Douglas Road, police said.
