Someone broke the driver’s side window of a car parked in the 100 block of Circle Drive in Boulder Hill between 10 p.m. March 22 and 7:30 a.m. March 23, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Window pains, part two

Someone broke the driver’s side window of a 1998 Dodge sedan parked in the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Drive in Montgomery between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Window pains, part three

Someone used a BB gun to shoot out the window of a business in the 600 block of Montgomery Road in Montgomery at 7:10 a.m., Montgomery Police said.

Monday, March 21

Fake ID to avoid warrant arrest

Abraham Mendez, 41, of the 300 block of Downer Place in Aurora, was charged with obstructing identification after he gave officers a fake ID to avoid being taken in on two warrants after a traffic stop at 9 a.m. at Harmony Drive and Sherman Avenue in Montgomery, police said. Mendez was wanted for drunken driving in Lake County, and felony possession of a controlled substance in Kane County, police said.

Dude, there’s my car!

Montgomery Police recovered a brown 2008 Dodge Charger that had been reported stolen in Aurora, police said. The vehicle was found in the 1500 block of Briarcliff Road in Montgomery at 5:25 p.m.

Sunday, March 20

Drunken driving

Andrew Tews, 31, of the 0-99 block of Mill Street in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 3 a.m. at Route 30 and Baseline Road in Montgomery, police said. He was also cited for failure to signal when required, police said.

Still seeking dangerous driver

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for information on an aggravated assault with a motor vehicle that occurred at 6:10 p.m. at Circle Drive East at South Bereman Road in Boulder Hill. Police said a black pickup truck attempted to hit two juveniles walking on the sidewalk. Anyone with information is asked to call Kendall County CrimeStoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
