Police Blotter: BB Guns, Kids With Knives, and Running From the Cops

Sunday, June 5 

Bumper cars

No one was injured when a car parked in a driveway in the 1300 block of Raymond Drive was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle at 6:30 a.m., Montgomery police said. The parked car rolled forward and damaged the garage door, police said.

Saturday, June 4

And stay out

Sawer Dabbouseh, 35, of Lombard, was charged with criminal trespass to real property after he entered a building in the 300 block of Mill Street at 5 p.m., after being issued a notice that he was not allowed, Montgomery police said.

Thursday, June 2

BB gunners

Someone used a BB gun to damage the siding and windows of three homes in the 200 block of Arbor Ridge Drive sometime in the early morning, Montgomery police said.

Rule #1: Do not run from cops

Paul Woodard, 34, of Chicago, was charged with two counts of aggravated drunken driving after a traffic stop at 11:40 p.m. at Melrose Avenue and Lafayette Street, Montgomery police said. Woodard got out of the car and ran away, and police gave chase, finally catching him and taking him into custody, police said. Woodard was also charged with resisting arrest, illegal transportation of alcohol, felony driving on a suspended license, failure to signal and improper lane usage, police said.

Wednesday, June 1

Speeding, pot possession

Antonio Justin Robinson, 21, of the 2600 block of Caliendo Circle in Montgomery, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 12:47 a.m. at Route 30 and Orchard Road, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said. Robinson was driving 73 miles per hour in a 45 mile-per-hour zone, and was cited for speeding as well, deputies said.  

Kid with knife

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies took a male juvenile into custody after responding to Winrock Park in the 0-99 block of Winrock Road in Boulder Hill at 8:15 p.m. for reports of a person with a weapon, police said. A knife was recovered, and no one was injured, deputies said.
