Police Blotter: Aggravated DUI, Identity Theft

Friday, Sept. 14

Aggravated DUI

Rick Byrnes, 48, of the 600 block of Kendall Street, Aurora, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:45 a.m. at Montgomery and Douglas roads, police said. Reports state Byrnes was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after police located a controlled substance inside his vehicle, and driving on a revoked drivers license.

Saturday, Sept. 15

DUI

Erica Huggins, 20, of the 400 block of South Avenue, Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped her vehicle for not having her headlights on at 2 a.m. at Montgomery Road and Fifth Street, police said.

A rock thrown by a lawn mower struck a vehicle that was driving at 3 p.m. in the 1900 block of Aucutt Road, police said.

Monday, Sept. 17

Identity theft

A resident in the 3000 block of Secretariat Lane reported someone had opened a satellite television account in their name and charged more than $1,900 in fees in Texas, police said.
