OMG PD: Portable Toilet Tipped Over at Elementary School

A round up of strange or bizarre recent police reports from the Kendall County area.

Ick, that’s not going to be fun to clean up

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to state supported property that occurred between 10 a.m. on Sept. 1 and 7 p.m. on Sept. 2 at Boulder Hill Elementary, 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass. Someone broke an exterior window and tipped over a portable toilet. Damage was estimated at $350.

 

Forget the small stuff, this identity thief went big 

Oswego police are investigating an identity theft that occurred on June 26 at an unknown time. Two automobiles were reported purchased with the victim’s identity.

The park really does close at dusk

A male juvenile, 18, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Saw Wee Kee Park in Oswego and charged with a juvenile warrant out of Kendall County for a probation violation for theft with no bond applying after deputies observed a vehicle in the park after dark, said the Sheriff’s office.

And even the kitchen sink!

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of burglary that occurred between Aug. 27 and Sept. 5 in the 0-2000 block of Simmons Road, Oswego. An unoccupied residence was entered by an unknown person/s who took kitchen appliances, doors, cabinets and copper pipe.

 

Would you like fries with that?

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred between 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 30 and 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the 0-99 block of Old Post, Montgomery. The victim reported that unknown subjects damaged his vehicle by squirting ketchup and mustard on the rear tailgate and passenger side. After washing the vehicle, mustard stains remained. 

 

How much for headphones?

Two male juveniles were charged and referred to juvenile court for retail theft that occurred at 7:42 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the 1600 block of North Beecher Road. The two reportedly stole three pairs of headphones worth $408.97.
