News From Naperville: Three Montgomery Men Arrested Over the Weekend

Two charged with drunken driving and one nabbed on an outstanding warrant, according to Naperville police reports.

Here at Montgomery Patch, we’re always bringing you news about crimes committed within the village limits, and in Boulder Hill. But sometimes, people from Montgomery find themselves charged with crimes elsewhere, and end up in another Patch’s police blotter.

Here are three such recent cases from Naperville.

Jeremy Mathius Filburn, 37, of the 2600 block of Jenna Circle in Montgomery, was charged with two counts of drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1 a.m. Saturday at West 75th Street and Book Road in Naperville, police said. He was also charged with illegal possession, transportation of alcohol, failure to signal and improper passing on the shoulder, police said. Filburn was arrested, and bail was set at $3,000.

Shawn Glen Cartwright, 19, of the 30 block of Scarsdale Road in Boulder Hill, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 10:19 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Meadow and Ferry roads in Naperville, police said. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of resisting a peace officer, consumption of alcohol by a minor, knowingly damaging property, illegal lane use, and failing to signal, police said.

And finally, Gabriel Saltijeral, 36, of the 2500 block of Concord Court in Montgomery, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. Monday in the 1000 block of W. Ogden Avenue on a failure to appear warrant, police said. His bail was set at $2,000, police said.
