Sunday, April 7

Criminal damage to property

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported criminal damage to property that occurred at 12 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Scarsdale Road, near Montgomery. Several windows were damaged and the cause is likely to be a pellet/BB gun.

Domestic battery

Derek Powell Klimas, 35, of the 4500 block of Douglas Road, near Oswego, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, April 6

Battery

Audrey A. Matysek, 51, of the 7500 block of Audrey Avenue, Yorkville, was arrested in the 300 block of Austin Court, near Yorkville, and charged with battery, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to a report of a battery and found that Matysek had battered two juveniles and arrested her for one of the incidents. The second battery investigation is ongoing.

Warrant

  • Bryce Allen Bentley, 50, of the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass, near Montgomery, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery, and charged with a warrant for a parole violation, said the Sheriff’s office.
  • Michael Scott Matysek, 50, of the 7500 block of Audrey Avenue, Yorkville, was arrested at 11:29 p.m. in the 1100 block of Cornell Lane, Yorkville, and charged with a warrant for theft out of Kane County after the subject came to bond out a prisoner at the Public Safety Center, said the Sheriff’s office.

Friday, April 5

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported theft that occurred sometime between January 1, 2013 and April 4, 2013 in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, near Oswego. Three video games, valued at $180, were stolen from a residence.

Wednesday, April 3

Reckless discharge of a firearm

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported reckless discharge of a firearm that occurred sometime between 6 a.m. on April 2 and 6:19 p.m. on April 3 in the 0-99 block of Marina Drive, near Oswego. The victim reported finding a window broken in a closest facing Marina Drive, and while cleaning up broken glass found a projectile on the floor under a shoe rack.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Luis L. Valle Jr., 19, of the 100 block of Hillstone Road, near Montgomery, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. at Durango Road and Seneca Drive and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said the Sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, April 2

Warrant

Joaquin Rendon, 48, of the 600 block of Hayden Drive, Yorkville, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. at Route 30 and Douglas, near Montgomery, and charged with an in-state warrant out of the Kane County Sheriff’s office for contempt of court, said the Sheriff’s office.

Disorderly conduct

Nicholas Lee Stadler, 22, of the 0-100 block of Chatham Place, near Montgomery, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. at his residence and charged with disorderly conduct after deputies received reports of Stadler shouting at someone near the roadway, said the Sheriff’s office.

Warrant, driving with revoked license

Bryan Louis Ardelean, 30, of the 200 block of Farm Court, Yorkville, was arrested at 7:08 p.m. at East Merchants Drive and Fernwood Road and charged with a warrant out of Will County for failure to appear on traffic charges and driving with a revoked license, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also charged with illegal screeching/squealing of tires.

Sunday, March 31

Criminal trespass to property, criminal damage to property

Michael Keith Reinert, 44, of the 1000 block of Homestead Drive, Yorkville, was arrested at 6:43 p.m. in the 100 block of Tuma Road, Bristol, and charged with criminal trespass and damage to property, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies reported that a neighbor observed the Reinert kick in a basement window to a vacant house. Reinert told deputies he was interested in purchasing the property and wanted to show the house to his family.

No valid driver’s license

Laura Vanessa Ramirez, 20, of the 400 block of Beach Street, Aurora, was arrested at 7:07 p.m. at Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for speeding and driving an uninsured vehicle.
