Montgomery Seeks to Fill Police Pension Board Vacancy

Applications must be received by Oct. 4.

The Village of Montgomery is seeking an individual interested in serving on the Village’s Police Pension Board.  Meetings are held at least four times per year at the Police Department.  Police Pension Board Duties are:

1.  Operate the Police Pension Fund for sworn police officers. 
2.  Invest Police Pension funds, maintain records, grant pensions, and consider applications for disability pensions.

This is a volunteer position.  Applicants must live within the corporate limits of Montgomery.

Any resident of Montgomery interested in serving on the Police Pension Board should provide a cover letter and resume by Friday, October 4, 2013.
