Montgomery Man Seriously Injured in Rollover Crash

Randall Tyner was searching for his cell phone when he flipped his vehicle, police said.

A Montgomery man was seriously injured in a rollover crash that occurred at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday in Little Rock Township, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Randall Eugene Tyner, 57, of the 1800 block of Waverly Way in Montgomery, sustained “major injuries” after he lost control of his vehicle on Rock Creek Road near Henning Road, overturning it, police said. Tyner was searching for his cell phone when he lost control, according to the police report.

Tyner was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, where he remains in good condition.

Tyner was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.
