Montgomery Area Heroin Dealer Gets Five Year Prison Term

Arrest was made in April 2012 after Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team investigation.

Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis announced Wednesday that Matthew Gribble, 31, 40 Greenbriar Road, near Montgomery, was sentenced to 5 and half years in prison for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance after pleading guilty.  

According to Weis, Gribble was arrested and charged in April 2012 after he delivered heroin to while under investigation by the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team.  

Weis commended the work of CPAT for their efforts in taking a distributor of heroin off the streets of Kendall County.

“Heroin is a problem across our State, and KCPAT’s work continues to send a message that we will continue to punish those that seek to bring this terrible drug into Kendall County.”  

Gribble will serve two years of mandatory supervised release after he serves his 5 and a half year prison sentence.
