Man Holds Up Cashier at Gunpoint

A store in the 1500 block of South Douglas Road was reportedly robbed on Sunday evening.

A cashier at a Montgomery grocery store was reportedly held up at gunpoint Sunday evening.

Police said a white male wearing a dark hat and jacket, tan facemask and blue jeans and armed with a shotgun stole an undetermined amount of cash at 6:10 p.m. Sunday from the grocery store in the 1500 block of South Douglas Road.

The shotgun used during the robbery was later recovered a short distance from the crime scene, police said.
