Man Charged with Speeding 50MPH Over Speed Limit: Sheriff

Sunday, July 14

Domestic battery

A male juvenile was arrested at 1 a.m. at McHugh Road and Marketplace Drive, Bristol, and charged with domestic battery after he struck a family member multiple times on the head and neck, said the Sheriff’s office.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol, warrant

Peter Vicencio, 19, of the 900 block of Jackson Street, Aurora; Luis Adran Abrego, 19, of the 2700 block of Cranston Circle, Yorkville; and Anthony Issacc Esquivel, 19, of the 0-99 block of Codorus Road, Montgomery, were arrested at 3:27 a.m. int eh 0-99 block of Seneca Road, Montgomery, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to Seneca Road for a reference of a battery that had already occurred. Vicencio and Abrego were arrested and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and Esquivel was charged with an in state warrant.

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred sometime overnight in the 0-99 block of Riverview Court, Oswego. A front window on a residence was broken by an unknown object resulting in around $250 worth of damages.

Saturday, July 13

Zero tolerance, speeding, unlawful consumption of alcohol, traffic accident

Geraldo Garcia, 20, of the 2100 block of Country Drive, Plano, was arrested at 7:45 a.m. at Galenda Road and Eldamain Road and charged with zero tolerance, speeding, unlawful consumption of alcohol and a traffic accident, said the Sheriff’s office. Garcia was in a traffic accident after driving by a deputy at 89 mph in a 50 mph speed zone and drove his car into a ditch prior to the deputy being able to sop him for speeding.

Warrant

Tyler David Cox, 19, of the 200 block of Springbrook Trail South, Oswego; and Karen Monica Greyer, 21, of the 6100 block of Red Gate Lane, Yorkville; were arrested at 12:57 a.m. in the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies went to the Hideaway Lakes Campground for a report of neighborhood trouble and found that Cox and Greyer both had outstanding warrants. Cox was arrested for a warrant out of Montgomery for failure to appear for consumption of alcohol by a minor; and Greyer was arrested for a warrant out of Kendall County for failure to appear on consumption of alcohol by a minor.

No valid driver’s license

Jovita Vargas-Gallegos, 27, of the 400 block of Parker Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. at Route 30 and Fifth Street, Oswego, and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office. She was stopped for not wearing a seatbelt and her child was not secured in a car seat. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of theft of two Illinois Railway emergency contact signs that occurred between June 12 and July 12 at Sundown and Bud Long in Oswego. Someone removed the signs from the railroad signal poles. They were estimated at $20.

Friday, July 12

Possession of cannabis

Matthew Christopher Morris, 18, of the 0-99 block of Paddock Street, Montgomery, was arrested at his residence and charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies went to the residence to investigate a domestic violence report.

Warrant

Tyler Robin Page, 21, homeless, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. at Saugatuck Road and Sonora Road and charged with an in state warrant for failure to appear for harassment by telephone, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, July 11

Speeding

Christian Decicco, 19, of the 1300 block of Meyer Drive, Addison, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. at Route 47 and Route 30 and charged with speeding over 40 miles over the speed limit, said the Sheriff’s office. Decicco was found speeding 105 mph in a 55 mph zone and was also cited for improper overtaking on the left while traveling in the same direction.

DWLS, possession of cannabis, possession of alcohol

Gabriel Guerrero, 19, of the 400 block of Daywood Court, Aurora; Chazlyn Shanee Rodriguez, 20, of the 200 block of Church Street, Batavia; and Cristian Salvador Juarez, 20, of the 600 block of Jefferson Street, Aurora; were arrested at 12:58 a.m. in the 1000 block of Route 30, Oswego. Guerrero was charged for driving on a suspended license and passenger Rodrigues was charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis and passenger Juarez was charged with the unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor.

Wednesday, July 10

No valid driver’s license

  • Andrew Steven Arnold, 29, of the 100 block of Long Beach Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. at Sonora Road and Fernwood Road, Montgomery, and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • A male juvenile, 17, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. at Orchard and Galenda Roads and charged for driving without a valid license and speeding, said the Sheriff’s office.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred overnight between 7 p.m. on July 9 and 8 a.m. on July 10 in the 2100 block of Light Road in a parking lot. A vehicle’s driver side door was reported scratched and will cost an estimated $500 in damages.

Monday, July 8

Driving with revoked license

Jeffrey C. Olsen, 29, of the 0-20 block of Knollwood, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. at Briarcliff and Knollwood and charged for driving on a revoked license after deputies observed him driving an ATV, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for the improper operation of ATV on a roadway.

Criminal damage to property

The Sheriff’s office took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred overnight between July 7 and July 8 at the Oswego Community Bank in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery. A thrown rock broke two panes of glass on a window, costing an estimated $300 in damage.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a theft that occurred between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Durango, Oswego. A cell phone was taken during a party at the residence.

Saturday, July 6

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a theft that occurred at 1 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Amy Drive, Oswego. A laptop computer was reported stolen from a bedroom in the residence.
