Man Charged with DUI After Striking Utility Pole: Kendall County DUI Arrests

A roundup of recent driving under the influence charges.

Jan. 1

Rachel Numrich, 28, of the 1100 block of Amaranth, Naperville, was charged with driving under the influence at 3:07 a.m. in the 3400 block of Route 34, said Oswego police. 

Dec. 31

Craig A. Patrick, of the 3100 block of Whirlaway Lane, Montgomery, was charged with driving under the influence after he was involved in a two-car accident at 9:53 p.m. at Washington and Route 71, said Oswego police. He was charged with a DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Neither Patrick nor the driver of the other vehicle were reported injured.

Dec. 29

Lisa E. Sharpe, 47, of the 500 block of Truman Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 12:37 p.m. at Chicago and Madison and charged with driving under the influence after she was involved in a 2-car accident, said Oswego police. She was additionally cited for driving too fast for conditions and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. No one was reported injured in the accident.


Dec. 28

Terry A. Walker, 51, of the 500 block of West Ridge Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. at Hydraulic Avenue west of Adams Street and was charged driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a utility pole, said Yorkville police. He was also charged with a hit and run after leaving the scene and cited for driving without insurance and for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
