Monday, Sept. 9

Warrant, illegal transportation of alcohol

Melchor John Lopez, 39, of the 100 block of Kevin Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. at Light Road and Augusta Road, Oswego, on a warrant for driving on a suspended license, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also charged for driving on a suspended license, the illegal transportation of alcohol and for driving without a rear registration light. 

Sunday, Sept. 8

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a hit and run that occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Hunter Drive, Montgomery. An unknown vehicle struck a car hitched to a trailer with a ski/fish boat.

Domestic battery

Jose G. Torres, 22, of the 10500 block of Legion Road, Yorkville, was arrested at his residence and charged with domestic battery after it was found he battered a family member, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also charged with the unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence.

Warrant

Daniel Issac Perez, 20, of the 0-100 block of Hampton Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 4:16 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Hampton Road on a warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Sept. 7

DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis

Ashley Gaynell Risk, 21, of the 800 block of West Church Street, Sandwich, was arrested at 3:33 a.m. at Route 34 and Tuma Road, Bristol, for driving under the influence of drugs and the possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia after she was stopped for lane usage, said the Sheriff’s office. 

No valid driver’s license

Roberto Andres Ramirez-Gutierrez, 43, of the 400 block of East Illinois Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 1:53 a.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Route 25 and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after being stopped for no rear registration light, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary from motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a burglary from a motor vehicle that took place between 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 6 and 4 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the 0-99 block of Denham Drive, Montgomery. An iPad was reported stolen.

Friday, Sept. 6

Warrant

A male juvenile, 18, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. at Saw Wee Kee Park in Oswego and charged with a juvenile warrant out of Kendall County for a probation violation for theft with no bond applying after deputies observed a vehicle in the park after dark, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, Sept. 5

No valid driver’s license

  • Agustin Solano-Guzman, 38, of the 1600 block of Dearborn Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. at Hill Avenue and Montgomery Road and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after being stopped for an equipment violation, said the Sheriff’s office.
  • Guadalupe Lara-Barraza, 36, of the 900 block of West South, Plano, was arrested at 9:11 a.m. at West Highpoint Road and Fox and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said the Sheriff’s office.

Driving with revoked license

Oscar Gonzalez-Morales, 23, of the 700 block of High Street, Aurora, was arrested at 5:55 a.m. at Route 30 and Wolf Road and charged for driving with a revoked license following a property damage accident between two vehicles, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Unlawful violation of order of protection

Cadena E. Miroslava, 41, of the 100 block of Saugatuck Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. at her residence and charged with the unlawful violation of an order of protection, said the Sheriff’s office.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of battery that occurred on Sept. 4 at Caterpillar Tractor Co. The victim reported being battered by a co-worker while at work, but declined prosecution at this time.

Criminal damage to property

Martin R. Stuebinger, 44, of the 0-20 block of Ingleshire, Montgomery, was arrested at 4 p.m. in the 0-20 block of Ingleshire and charged with criminal damage to property after damaging a bedroom door during a domestic violence incident, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of burglary that occurred between Aug. 27 and Sept. 5 in the 0-2000 block of Simmons Road, Oswego. An unoccupied residence was entered by an unknown person/s who took kitchen appliances, doors, cabinets and copper pipe.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

Driving with revoked license

Johnnie Robert Lee Watts, 23, of the 2500 block of Bristol Ridge Road, Bristol, was arrested at 8:40 a.m. at John Street and Cornell Lane, Bristol, and charged for driving with a revoked license after contact was made at the Courthouse, said the Sheriff’s office.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of identity theft that occurred on Aug. 31. The victim reported Best Buy Credit Services contacted her about her personal information being used to open an account. The victim reported that she told the company she had not applied and the credit application wasn’t denied and the victim lost no money.

Warrant

Paul Nicholas Middleton, 31, of the 400 block of Honeysuckle Lane, Yorkville, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. in the 400 block of Honeysuckle Lane on a warrant, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary from motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred in the 200 block of Tuma Road, Yorkville. The victim reported someone went in his unlocked work vehicle and removed items without consent.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

Warrant

Cesar Euguenio Coellar, 43, of the 5000 block of Fields Drive, Bristol, was arrested at 6 a.m. at his residence on a failure to appear warrant out of the Kendall Sheriff’s office for driving on a suspended license, said the Sheriff’s office.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to state supported property that occurred between 10 a.m. on Sept. 1 and 7 p.m. on Sept. 2 at Boulder Hill Elementary, 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass. Someone broke an exterior window and tipped over a portable toilet. Damage was estimated at $350.

Monday, Sept. 2

Warrant

Donald Allen Cox, 55, homeless, was arrested at 5:26 p.m. Briarcliff Road and Route 30 on a warrant out of DuPage County for criminal trespass, said the Sheriff’s office. 

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 4:44 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Saugatuck Road. A vehicle traveling west on Saugatuck crossed over the centerline and struck a parked car on the south side of the roadway. The driver of the vehicle left the scene prior to officer arrival. 

Sunday, Sept. 1

Burglary from motor vehicle, criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for burglary to motor vehicles and criminal damage to property that occurred overnight on Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 in the 600-700 block of Wacker Drive, Bristol. Four vehicles were reported damaged and a radio and a GPS unit were stolen.  

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred between 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 30 and 7:50 a.m. on Sept. 1 in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass. A rear kitchen window valued at approximately $100 was broken by an unknown object.

Saturday, Aug. 31

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred between 10:20 p.m. on Aug. 30 and 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the 0-99 block of Old Post, Montgomery. The victim reported that unknown subjects damaged his vehicle by squirting ketchup and mustard on the rear tailgate and passenger side. After washing the vehicle, mustard stains remained. 

Warrant

Gary D. Castle, 32, of the 0-99 block of Saugatuck Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:07 a.m. at the Dollar General in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass and arrested on an active warrant out of the Kane County Sheriff’s office, said the Sheriff’s office.
