Kidnapping Charge for Boulder Hill Man

Incident occurred on Aldon Road late Friday night.

A Boulder Hill man is being held in the Kendall County Jail on $250,000 bond after being charged with aggravated kidnapping.

According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office, deputies were called to a home on Aldon Road at about 11:20 p.m. Friday for a report of a juvenile female that had been assaulted. According to reports, Brett A. Emery, 18, of the 0-100 block of Somerset Road in Montgomery, had shown up earlier in the evening and assaulted a female juvenile, who reports said was his ex-girlfriend.

After assaulting the female at her home, Emery forced her to his home and battered her again, according the sheriff’s office. During the battery, a witness was able to intervene, and the girl was able to leave, the sheriff’s office said.

Emery was eventually charged with aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, aggravated battery, domestic battery, aggravated assault and criminal damage to property.
