Kendall County Sheriff's Office Correction's Deputy Graduates Academy with Honors

Deputy Casey Kailus will now began an in house field training program.

The following release was issued by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce Deputy Casey Kailus’ recent graduation from the Dupage County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Academy.  

The 5 week academy covered such topics as Illinois Law pertaining to Corrections Deputies, Defensive Tactics, Report writing, Firearms, and an in depth look at mental health disorders a Correctional Deputy is likely to face. 

Upon completion, Deputy Kailus graduated within the top 10% of his class, and received the Illinois Sheriff’s Association Award for Outstanding Correctional Officer. Deputy Kailus received this award, after his fellow classmates voted him as the classes “Outstanding Deputy”.

Deputy Kailus will now begin an intensive in house Field Training program, where he will work closely with an experienced Corrections Deputy.
