Heroin Possession, Car Stolen from Driveway: Police Blotter

SUNDAY, OCT. 27

Possession of Controlled Substance

John Klicpera, 28, who was reported as homeless, was charged with retail theft and possession of heroin following an incident at a business in the 1900 block of Douglas Road. Police said Klicpera took $95 in merchandise. When located by police, officers said they found brown powder that tested positive for heroin.

Car Stolen

A 2011 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from a driveway in the 2700 block of Jenn Court.

Decking Boards Stolen

Ten PVC decking boards, valued at $800, were stolen from a business in the 1700 block of Albright Road.

Revoked License  

Raymond Coughlin, 32, of Crest Hill, was charged with driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop for disobeying a traffic control device.

SATURDAY, OCT. 26

Public Intoxication

Michael Cantrell, 56, who reported he was homeless, was charged with public intoxication. Police said he was under the influence of alcohol in a public place at Douglas and Melrose.

THURSDAY, OCT. 24

Suspended License

Cory Flanery, 23, of the 0-100 block of Rocky Way in Boulder Hill, was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at 1:25 a.m. near Mill and Route 25.
