Monday, Sept. 2

Felony aggravated DUI

Jaime Medina, 42, of the 400 block of Watson St. Aurora, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. at Montgomery Road and Pleasant Place for Felony Aggravated DUI after police stopped his vehicle for speeding.  He was charged with three counts of Aggravated DUI based on 3rd charge of DUI, Driving While License Suspended for DUI, and No insurance while arrested for DUI.

Warrant, obstructing identification, no valid driver’s license

A 17-year-old Juvenile from Aurora, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of Douglas Road for No Valid Driver’s License after police stopped his vehicle for improper lane usage.  A passenger in the vehicle, Jose Juarez, 27, of the 200 block of 5th St. Aurora, was arrested for Obstructing Identification after he provided false information to Police to avoid being arrested on a Kendall County Sheriff’s Department DUI Warrant, said Montgomery police.

Retail theft

Tevallis Yankieway, 25, who was reported as Homeless, was arrested t 3:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road for retail theft after he concealed $85 in merchandise and left the store without paying, said Montgomery police.

Driving with revoked license

Cecilio Tochimani, 40, of the 700 Block of Douglas Road, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. inthe1300 block of Douglas Road for Driving While License Revoked after police stopped his vehicle for speeding, said Montgomery police.

Sunday, Sept. 1

Warrant

  • Samantha Okapal, 18, of the 500 block of 6th Ave. Aurora, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. at Spencer and Melrose on an Aurora Police Department Domestic Battery Warrant after she was stopped for a traffic violation, said Montgomery police.
  • Gerardo Reyes, 32, of the 300 block of Simms St. Aurora, a person in a vehicle stopped by Police, was arrested on (2) DuPage County Sheriff’s Department Traffic and Obstructing a Police Officer warrants, and a Naperville Police Traffic Warrant at 11 p.m. at Montgomery and Douglas Roads, said Montgomery police.

Criminal damage to property

Montgomery police took a report for criminal damage to property at 7:10 a.m. An unknown suspect(s) damaged 5 mailboxes in the area of Morning Glory, Red Fox and Briarcliff Road.

Theft

Montgomery police took a report for theft of an iPhone 4S that was stolen during a party at a private residence in the 1700 block of Stonegate Drive.

Saturday, Aug. 31

Burglary to motor vehicle

Montgomery police took a report at 9 p.m. for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred in the 2900 block of Jacob. A cassette converter was reported taken from the vehicle.

Warrant, obstructing identification

Yatziri Gomez, 22, of the 400 block of Jackson St. Aurora, was arrested at 3 .m. at Montgomery Road and Gates for Obstructing Identification after she provided police false information to avoid being arrested on a Kendall County Sheriff’s Department Retail Theft Warrant, said Montgomery police.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

Burglary to motor vehicle

Montgomery police took a report for a burglary of a motor vehicle that was reported at 11:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Lynn Drive. The victim said someone entered their car and stole a debit card and $2 in cash. The debit card was used at a gas station in Aurora.

 

Any charges are merely an accusation and the defendant(s) are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
