FBI Seek Man in Aurora Bank Robbery

Can you help identify the man who robbed a TCF Bank inside an east side Jewel Sunday?

Aurora Police are assisting the FBI in the investigation of a Far East side bank robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon, at the TCF Bank, 1157 N. Eola Rd.

The preliminary investigation indicates that at about 4:10 p.m., the suspect, a white male in his mid-20’s, about five-feet, 10-inches tall, and weighing 160 to 170 pounds, entered the Jewel-Osco where the bank is located.

He approached TCF Bank counter, implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash. After securing an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran out of a vestibule on the south side of the store.

The man was wearing a white and black bandana, sun glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt with a Chicago Blackhawks logo on the front, blue jeans, and gym shoes. No one was injured in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 312-421-6700 or Aurora Police Investigators at 630-256-5500.
