Driving Without Headlights Around Midnight Leads to DUI Arrest: Kendall County DUI Arrests

A look at DUI arrests in Kendall County.

Oswego

Thursday, Aug. 8 Miguel A. Rios, 35, of the 300 block of North Obin Street, Aurora, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. at Route 34 and Hill Avenue and charged with driving under the influence after he was stopped for driving without headlights when required, said Oswego police.

Saturday, Aug. 3 Kelly Leonetti, 48, of the 2900 block of Ellsworth, Yorkville, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. at Route 34 and O’brien Way and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police.

Yorkville

Sunday, Aug. 4 Salvador Galindo, 20, of the 2400 block of Thunder Gulch Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:12 a.m. at Route 47 and Orange and charged with driving under the influence after police stopped him on suspicion of driving under the influence and he poorly performed field sobriety tests, said Yorkville police.

Wednesday, July 31 Michael Joseph Nickels, 27, of the 37W700 block of Heritage Drive, Batavia, was arrested at 11:07 p.m. at Route 30 and Route 47 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and endangering the life of a child, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited with speeding, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, following too closely and littering from a vehicle.

Boulder Hill

Wednesday, July 31 Joseph Martin Meyer, 21, of the 700 block of North Main Street, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive West, Montgomery, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after he was involved in a property damage accident, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. 


Unincorporated Kendall County

Saturday, Aug. 3 Ethan Michael Price, 22, of the 41W100 block of Sylvan Drive, Elburn, was arrested at 10:05 a.m. at Route 31 and Anchor and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and the possession of a controlled substance, said the Sheriff’s office. The Sheriff’s office received a report of a vehicle driving erratically and after stopping the vehicle deputies found a small bag of pills in Price’s possession after he submitted to and failed a field sobriety test.
