A Boulder Hill woman has been charged with finding a lost credit card and attempting to use it at an Oswego store, Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

According to police, Nicole Plum, 38, of the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Boulder Hill, admitted to finding the wallet and using the card. Police received a call at 3 p.m. on Nov. 22 from a business in the 0-99 block of Cherry Road in Oswego, reporting that a woman had tried to use a credit card that did not belong to her.

The card had been canceled, police said, so she was unable to purchase anything. Police contacted the owner of the card, and discovered that he had lost his wallet earlier that day. Sheriff’s deputies were then able to track down Plum, and issued a warrant for her arrest on Jan. 5, police said.
