Boulder Hill Neighborhood Watch Meeting Set

First of three introductory sessions to be held Friday night.

The Kendall County Sheriff's office announced through its Facebook page Wednesday that the first of three introductory meetings for a Boulder Hill Neighborhood Watch program will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Civic Center, 5 Ashlawn Ave., Montgomery.

All residents are welcome to attend. 

Sheriff's Deputy Brian Harl said community policing deputies have spoken with Boulder Hill residents recently about initiating a Neighborhood Watch program and said, “they seemed very interested and recognized the need.”

According to the Sheriff's Office "statistics show that communities involved a neighborhood watch program are less likely to have crime committed in their area."
