Cursive Article

We absolutely need to be teaching cursive. Our children need to be able to communicate with all ages. Will they now be printing their names or will we teach them just enough cursive that they will be able to sign their name. What I don't understand is how the person that questioned whether or not we should teach cursive mistakenly called our elementary schools "grammar schools." Have you checked to see how little grammar is actually taught? How about geography or social studies? The rate we are going, we might as well just let the kids play computer games and let the computers do the thinking.
