Rodney was somewhat of a local celebrity and everywhere he went, people knew him by name, always referring to him as “guy on the blue bike.”  He was a people person and loved to “shoot the breeze” as he called it, with Pepsi in hand he did so as he visited the many local businesses.

Ronnie believed that after he talked to a person once, they were his friend for life.  He was a BIG sports fan and could ramble off dates, scores, and player’s names from any sports team past or present, especially the Chicago teams.  His favorites were the East Aurora Tomcats and the Chicago Cubs.  Ronnie also loved kids as he was just a big kid himself.  Ronnie belonged to the community.
