Adopt Me: Champ and Abby Are a Perfect Pair
Each week, we'll spotlight a dog or cat looking for adoption at one of the area's many rescue operations or shelters.
It’s a two-for-one special in Adopt Me this week.
Champ is a 6-year-old pitbull/terrier mix, and his friend Abby is a 10-year-old yellow lab. They have known each other all their lives, according to Kendall County Animal Control Kennel Assistant Cass Gilbert, and are hoping to be adopted together.
The two dogs were released by their owner on March 30. They’re very friendly, and they love each other, so Animal Control staff is hoping they won’t have to break them up. The dogs are recommended for a family that likes exercise.
