It’s in there, Science and it was taught by?

Teachers Teaching - the reward!

Welcome to the world that thing we stand on each day and that is driven by science. Did you know that pretty much everything we touch daily was born on a principle of some science we all learn in high school?

I remember in school when the light bulb of knowledge went on, while the teacher and I didn’t really know it, it was on. I’m now a book eating, knowledge seeking and a driven person because of a few teachers in my past. You know those teachers that somehow get under your skin with seeds they plant driving with high hopes the next generation of deep thinkers. Back in the 70’s we were that group stuck between flower power of the 60’s and well the strange 80’s. The 70’s kids were those ones that moved more in terms of technologies and science than any other group in history. Some of the coolest items sprang forth from people like Jobs, Gates and list that goes on and on.  These 70’s kids took the earlier advances in science and extended them into the products we all use today. Just think if Mr X or Ms Y had not taken the time to tell little Steve to look more closely at Algebra we may be using PADS of PAPER still instead of iPADS.

So with that I need to thank you my teachers from OHS, you know who you are. Those seed planters of knowledge those great thinkers who planted the seeds in hopes they would one day develop fruit that others could enjoy. Hats off to you for making a kid of the 70’s into a Business Person, Programmer, Deep Thinker, Writer and who knows maybe ………!

CAW (Cool Application of Week)

Applications that for some strange reason make me nuts and conflict with other programs just drive me over the edge to the point I just find something better. Well folks here it is something better. FOXIT reader is an Adobe PDF replacement that doesn’t cause issues like Adobe Reader does. So uninstall ADOBE and get FOXIT you may see less issues like I have on my computers!

Stay safe this summer please the life you save may just be the next great thinker!
