Montgomery to Offer Police Testing

Applications must be received by 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7.

The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners are seeking individuals with a high degree of personal and professional integrity to participate in a testing process to establish an Eligibility List of candidates for full-time police officer positions for the .

The tests for placement on the list include a physical ability test and a written exam. The test will take place on Saturday, July 14, at Yorkville Middle School, 920 Prairie Crossing Drive, Yorkville.

If you are interested in testing to be on the Police Officer Eligibility List, visit the village's website and carefully read the Police Officer Application Packet.

Police officers are responsible for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals, and the enforcement of laws and ordinances.

To apply, fill out the Police Officer Application Packet and return a hard copy to the , 10 Civic Center Drive, with your $25 application fee.

Applications must be received by 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7, or you will be considered ineligible to participate in the testing process.
