Village to Flush Hydrants Starting Next Week

Here's the schedule you need to know to prevent your laundry from being stained.

Fair warning: Next week, the is going to start flushing water mains.

This periodic maintenance cleans sediment out of the pipes, which improves water quality, according to village officials. But it could also ruin your clothes, if you decide to wash your laundry while the flushing is going on. The water gets discolored, and could leave stains.

Now that we have your attention, here’s the schedule for water main flushing through the end of the month.
